The Cammarata Historic Centre Development Project is a community-led initiative in rural Sicily, led by Streetto. The project supports the gradual revitalisation of the town’s historic centre through adaptive reuse, cultural activity, long-term residency and local engagement.

Scope: Culture-led regional town development
Type:  Placemaking, interior design, art
Location: Cammarata,  (AG), Sicily, Italy
Leading association: Streetto
Status: Ongoing

As a resident participant, I am developing a series of projects, including renovating Casa Giglio as both a lived interior and an ongoing spatial study, and creating an art and design studio and garden space within the historic centre. Through my contributions, I’m exploring how attention, care and relationship with place can transform the way we dwell through processes of re-inhabitation, everyday living, and site-based research.
