Inventory of the In-Between (2025) examines the urban laneway as both material condition and spatial subject. Through iterative acts of observation, recording, and response, the project investigates the laneway as an intermediate, transitional, and generative space — one defined less by fixed function than by ambiguity, movement, and latent spatial potential.

The project is housed within a non-hierarchical digital platform that organises fragments of the investigation, including video, drawing, collage, and text, without seeking formal resolution. Functioning simultaneously as archive and interface, the website supports an iterative design process through tagging, grouping, and reordering, allowing relationships between materials to remain fluid and continuously reconstructable.

Rather than operating as a static repository, the inventory is structured as a spatial journey shaped by open-ended assemblage, textual drift, and keyword navigation. The project can be explored through six thematic terms: Transition, Ma, Latent, Flow, Threshold, and Liminal.
