Night Photographic Study, Series 01. 2026.
Digital photograph.Dimensions variable.

Night Interior [Working Title] (2026–ongoing) investigates how darkness produces space and transforms the experience of inhabitation. Developed through sustained engagement with the changing conditions of night, the project explores how light, shadow, movement and atmosphere shape the ways space is perceived, encountered and imagined.

  • Scope: Artistic research
  • Type: Ongoing project
  • Methods: Photography, video, walking, drawing, material experimentation
  • Location: Hypha_etc, Vármező / Câmpu Cetății, Romania
  • Context: Night as Commons and the Dark Side of Light
  • Duration: 1 October – 11 November 2026
  • Year: 2026–ongoing

Through photography, video, walking, drawing, and material experiments, I attend to spatial relationships that emerge in darkness—what becomes visible, what recedes, and what is sensed or imagined beyond immediate perception. The work treats darkness not simply as the absence of light, but as a condition through which space becomes unfamiliar, expansive and newly perceptible.

Developed through ongoing observation, experimentation, and image-making, the project lets encounters with the night generate new forms of spatial inquiry and artistic expression.
