Emma J Davis (she/her) has a multifaceted approach to her work, which centres on three core identities: Interiors, Creative Direction, Art & Research. These identities play a relational role in shaping Emma’s creative practice, enabling her to investigate the various connections and interwoven links between them.

Emma graduated with a Bachelor of Fine Art from Monash University in 2007 and began working as a visual merchandiser at Aesop, where she refined her installation and display design skills. In 2010, she founded her first studio, House & Universe, focusing on visual merchandising, prop making and installation design.
In 2019, Emma co-created Sensory Experiments, a multisensorial experience for NGV Melbourne Design Week. The same year, she co-founded DIAZ DAVIS, an experiential design and brand strategy studio, where she led as its creative director for four years.
Emma travelled to southern Italy in 2022 to investigate the 1-Euro Houses program, an Italian initiative to revitalise depopulated and dilapidated historic town centres. Her experience inspired her to purchase a house in Cammarata, a hillside town in Sicily. With a local architect's help, she is converting the three-level house into a guest house.
In 2024, Emma is pursuing studies in Interior Design to further her spatial design, artistic and research practice.
